She has studied piano under Mrs. Maxine Trotz, Ms. Maria DeGroot, Mrs. Ruth Brown and Dr. Stanislava Varshavski and violin under Ms. Kim Henning, Ms. Elizabeth Pabon and Mr. Lewis Rosove. In addition to teaching a private music studio, Lakeisha has performed regularly in area churches, nursing homes and other events including the Wisconsin 2011 Senate Inauguration. Lakeisha has been a member of the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra since 2007, performed in the Maranatha Symphony Orchestra, has performed solos with the BDAO and has been concert master with the BDAO since 2017.
